White Party- Welcome Party
Casa Las Marías | 5PM
To kick off the weekend of celebrations, Felipe and Silvia, the groom’s parents, invite you to a Spanish Style Welcome Party for all of our guests. It will be hosted in Casa Las Marías which is a wonderful colonial era house in the “Ciudad Amurallada”. There will be Spanish fare, a Gin & Tonic bar, as well as live music and dancing. We look forward to welcoming you all to Cartagena de Indias and providing a chance for everyone to mix and mingle before the big day!
Dress Code: White Linen Guayabera & White Dress
February 10
Wedding Celebration
Catedral Santa Catalina de Alejandría | 5PM
The Wedding Day arrives… Mass at the Cathedral begins at 5PM. Please plan to be at the Cathedral at around 4:45PM as the doors will be closing at 5PM. After the Wedding Mass, we will all participate in what is called a Calle de Honor. The street will be lined with dancers and drummers who will lead the way to the reception. It is about 3 colonial blocks away and should take no more than 10-15 minutes (not for distance but for all the dancing). Cocktail hour will be held right outside the Theatre, Dinner and the Reception will be held inside the Theatre.
Dress Code: Black Tuxedo & Long Evening Gown- please no black or white
February 11
Super Bowl Watch Party
El Coro Lounge Bar | 5PM
As most of you know, Emily and Felipe are very much into sports. The day after the wedding is Super Bowl Sunday! Please feel free to join us for the NFL final. This is a very casual “event” at the Santa Clara hotel bar. The game will be on a large projector screen and there will be menus to order food and drinks from. If you would like to attend, please RSVP and you will be provided with a wristband for food and drinks.
Dress Code: Casual/ Football Attire
